Elegant Mother's Day Card...

Hello!  Today I have a lovely Mother's day card to share with you.  This one isn't being entered into any challenges.  I love this card!  It is on the small side at 4.25" tall, but it still has a lot of room to write on the inside!  The color is actually a light blue, but it looks kinda lavender in the picture.....I need to get my light box built already!  I'm a horrible procrastinator!  :(  Need to work on that!

Cartridge - Wild Card
Card Stock - CTMH
Pattern Paper - October Afternoon "Fruit Stand"
Ribbon - Dollar store
Stamp - My Creative Time "Mom You Rock"
Pearls - CTMH

I hope you all enjoy and have a fabulous evening!  :)

Colorful Mother's Day Card...

Hey, hey, hey!!!  Today I have this lovely  Mother's day card that I wanted to share.  This is being submitted into the FCCB Color Challenge.  I really love how it turned out and was quite surprised at myself.  It's been a while since I have done any cards.  I needed a break from life and now I'm back w/ mojo flowing!  :)

The challenge was to use purple, turquoise and green in the project.  I just used all three colors and went bold!  These are some of my mom's favorite colors, so this card will be going to her!  I used Wild Card cartridge for the argyle design.  I love argyle!!!

The stamp set is from Emma from My Creative Time.   It's called "Mom You Rock."  I bought this last year and used it a few times.  I love her stamps!  The sparkles are, of course, stickles!  :)  All the card stock comes from CTMH.
The paper flowers and butterfly are from Close To My Heart.  I inked them with matching CTMH ink in Dutch Blue, Green Garden and Hydrangea.  The awesome purple polka dot button comes from Purple Pumpkin.  This button is a size large and measures about 1"...maybe slightly over.  This size or smaller is perfect for cards.  When I first bought from them I didn't know the difference.  I purchased mostly XL buttons.  I haven't used any of those yet, bc I'm unsure how to fit them onto cards.  Those buttons are about 1.5".  I think those buttons were made for scrapbook pages.  But we'll see.....
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed!  :)  Have a great day!!!
