Enjoy The Ride...

Hey y'all!  I have another card to share with you!  :)  This card will be entered into the FCCB Challenge Me Monday #108.  Their challenge was to use a car, bike, plane, train, etc on your project.  I chose to use a bike!  My stamp comes from Papertrey Ink called Everyday Button Bits.  I absolutely LOVE that stamp set!  I have only used 2 so far, but I cannot wait to use the rest!  They are so fun!!!
I am also entering this into the HSS Challenge #115.  This challenge was to make something for Spring.  You can't get more spring than pinks, yellows, flowers and bike rides!  :)

Other products I used were:
~CTMH - Paper, Ink (black) & Markers (Twilight, Black, Grey Flannel)
~Basic Grey - buttons
~Ribbon - to be honest, I don't remember where my ribbon came from.
~Cricut - circles cut at 3" and 3.25"

Oh!  I almost forgot!  I got my layout idea from OWH blog.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

A Note For You...

Happy Saturday ya'll!  I just wanted to share a card with you right quick.  Made this last night & was just way too tired to post.  :)  I got this lovely paper at Michaels when they were doing a 7/$1 deal.  I'm pretty sure all of this is Recollections paper, including the cardstock.  The ribbon is from the Dollar tree.  The ink and stamp are from Close to my heart.  I used my Gypsy to cut out the music note using Gypsy Wanderings (2.25"h).  I used gold stickles to make it sparkle!

I am submitting this into the CPS Challenge #262.  I love that blog for when I get stuck on layouts!  :)

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!!

Quilted Birthday Card...

Hello my virtual friends!  :)
I have a birthday card to share with you all today!  I was checking my email...I  believe it was yesterday (Wednesday) and that led me to Operation Write Home's blog.  They were talking about using scraps to make cards and all these different techniques.  This particular card that I have made is not one of their techniques, but I found a  challenge that I wanted to enter.  Using scraps just seemed to fit in with what I was trying to accomplish!  I have a ginormous stack of scraps and really need to get rid of some of them.  So I will be using a lot of scraps on my future cards until that pile goes away!
The first challenge this is getting entered into is Mojo Monday Challenge #238.  Their challenge was the awesome layout!  I love this layout and it was pretty simple to do!

~A2 size card (4.25"x5.5")
~Scraps (pretty sure all or most are CTMH)
~Ink : CTMH - Black, Star Spangled Blue & Tulip (balloon strings)
~Ribbon (Dollar Tree)
~Buttons: Basic Grey
~3D tape - CTMH
~Liquid glass or glue (buttons & ribbon)
~Stamps: Papertrey Ink - Everyday Button Bits & Pink By Design - Birthday, Birthday stamp set "Happy Birthday" (inside)
~Cartridge: Accent Essentials - circle cut at 3"

I also just wanted to quickly share the graduation invites I made for someone.  I made 10 of these suckers.  I ended up not having enough of the background paper, so I made my own!

Thanks for stopping by!

Cards, Cards, & More Cards...

Hello!  I've been a busy lady!  :)  I have decided to participate in my towns farmers market this year.  So I am slaving away making as many cards as I possibly can before May 12.  If all goes well, I will be doing one once a month!  Everything sold either has to be handmade or home-grown!  It should be fun and I'm really excited about it!  A friend of mine came over and pretty much bought everything I made last year.  "Cleaning out my old stock" she called it.  So now I have to restock!  But I'm not complaining!  That's moolah in my pocket.

I have also joined up with Mary Kay.  I've been busy trying to get that started up!  If any of you are interested in Mary Kay and don't already have a consultant, I have a couple promotions going on and need participants to help me out.  If interested, please email me at lcollins26@marykay.com.  Just let me know that you read about me here on my blog!  :)

I have also decided that I am going to do the Color Run in September.  So today was my first official day doing the Couch to 5K training.  That kicked my butt, but it felt so good!  :)  I hate working out, but once I get started, I feel so much better.  I actually like running, which is weird.  I tried this program out with my friend in 2010.  I kept telling her, "There is NO way I am running with you."  Then I just tried it and loved it!  I think the only way to make sure that I am working out everyday is to sign up for this Color Run.  I have something to look forward to and I have to train or it just won't happen.

Anyway....on to my cards.  Since I have so many to share, I will just touch on a couple that I am intering into challenges and then I will just post pics of the rest.

This top card is a 5" round.  To be quite honest, I know that "Happy Mother's Day" came from the Mother's Day 2010 cartridge.  It's cut out at 3".  I think the circle came from Wild Card, but I'm not sure about the scallop circle in the middle.  I just typed in "scallop circle" in the search bar on my gypsy.  The larger one is 6" and the smaller one is 5.5".  The "xoxoxoxo" stamped around the edge comes from Peachy Keen Stamps - Valentine Sweets.  VERY cute stamp set and if you don't have it, you should!  The paper is DCWV All Occasions Glitter Stack.  This card is being entered into the Peachy Keen Anything Goes Challenge
This card is being entered into the CPS Challenge #261.  I LOVE this layout!!!!  I used CTMH Bella paper pack.  I just love these colors!  The stamp set is from Pink by Design "Our Mother's."  I used "A mother understands what a child does not say."  The ribbon is from WalMart.

These next 4 cards are the same card in a different post I made.  I just went back and decided to make a bunch of different colors.  I wanted to use my cool Purple Pumpkin buttons!  :)  Which I have recently ordered more of!  ;)

This card was made using CTMH Magic Moments paper pack, CTMH ink & CTMH brads.  The stamp set is from Raisin Boat called Strokes of Wisdom.  This stamp set is really nice and I love it!  I'm trying to decide if I want to keep it.  I'm gonna go broke using them!  The first two stamp sets I have tried, I love!  :)  The next card is also made using that stamp set!

If you made it all the way here, thanks for stickin with me!  I told you I've been busy!  :)  Thanks for stopping by!

Folder Card Set...

Good evening online friends!  It's kinda late, but I started working on this project around 5-ish and them my hubby came home.  I had to stop and we ate dinner and hung out for a bit and then I decided to come finish my project and now it's 1030pm and I am finally finished & sharing with you all!  :)

This project is going to be entered into the HSS Color Challenge #112.  Trying to work with these colors was actually a little tough, which was probably why it took me so long.  I love the colors, but finding the right ones to go with what I was doing was challenging.

~I used Sentimentals cartridge on my Gypsy to cut the folder out at 11.95" in width.
~Six A2 size cards and envelopes fit in the folder.

~The tag was cut out in 3 different layers at 4", 3.5" & 3" wide.  I used my cuttlebug and Darice embossing folder - Fleur Di Lis - on the 3" tag and inked it with Pansy Purple ink from CTMH.
~"With Love" was cut out at 2" in height.
~The pen was cut out at 5" in height.
~The ribbon is something I picked up in Japan.
~I used DCWV Glitter cardstock - Brights & Pastels - for the folder & tip of pen.
~I used CTMH Notebook collection & Heirloom collection.  The brown came from SU.  The black is from Walmart.

~The ink was cut out at 2.25" in height.
~"Yours Truely" was cut out at 2.5" wide.
~I used pattern paper from CTMH Notebook collection to cover the inside of this folder.

~I used regular A2 size envelopes and cut strips of pattern paper to cover the flaps of the envelopes.  (brown is SU, purple is CTMH Heirloom, pink is CTMH Notebook)

~The cards are A2 size cards (4.25"x5.5").
~I used my cuttlebug & scrollwork folder for embossing.
~I used CTMH ink - Cocoa, Smokey Plum & Blush - to add color and pop to the embossing.

Once I figure out who I want to give this too, I plan on doing a monogram inside the frame of the card.

I saw this idea on the Cricut blog.  I didn't even know there was a folder on that cartridge.  I hardly use it.  Now that I know it's there and all the cool things on there, I'll use it more often!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!  :)
