Picture Frame and Birthday Card...

Today I am sharing a picture frame and birthday card that my husband asked me to make for a daughter of one of his school counselors.  She's turning 1 and I thought this would be super cute.  I already had my picture frame on hand and I already liked the color of it.  So I didn't add any paper or paint to it the frame.  I think it turned out super cute!!!

I used CTMH card stock for the butterfly and flowers.  I used Once Upon A Princess Cricut cartridge for the butterfly and "precious."  I used Accent Essentials for the flowers.  I feel really bad, but I can't remember what cartridge I used for her name.  I thought I had saved it, but didn't.  Oops!  The butterfly was cut at 4" and the flowers were cut at 1.5".  I used brown vinyl to cut out the body of the butterfly, "precious" (4" in width), and her name (1.5" in height).  I used Yellow stickles for the center of the flowers and Crystal stickles for the butterfly.

I really hope the mama likes it!
(sorry about the shadow.  the sun was shining through the window and i didn't have time to play with it before work this morning.)

The birthday card was my own idea.  The hubby didn't ask me to do it, but who gives a present without a card???  Weird, right?  Well...I think it's weird.  Hehe!

I used CTMH Mayberry paper pack.  It's one of their new additions.  I love the colors!  My card is 4.25"x5.5".  I used CTMH Nursary Bash stamp set.  I colored using CTMH markers in Hollyhock, Olive, Honey, Crystal Blue and Black.  I used CTMH Olive and Cocoa ink.  The embossing was done with Cuttlebug folder Seeing Spots and the ribbon is from ebay.

Have a great day!

Oh, these are both so, so super cute! I'm sure they are going to love this gift! I love that butterfly! I just used that for one of my projects too and it such a fun cut to play with! The card is adorable! The embossing and distressing really make the card with that adorable giraffe! Thanks for sharing these!
